A Walk Around Convict Lake, California

We hadn't been to Convict Lake in several years and it was a nice day so we made the short detour to the lake.





Mariposa Lilies,  a favorite of mine -  the Indians too, if I remember correctly.



Thistles just coming into bloom.

How about that - lot's of cacti at these high altitudes.  A spare pad or two too.

Try a hike around Convict Lake sometime.  It is several miles and an easy walk.
